Flashstream programs Samsung K9F2G08U0A-P - 929% faster

BPM Microsystems has improved the program and verification time on the Samsung K9F2G08U0M-P NAND 2Gb flash memory from 54.4 to 31.1 seconds for programming a full random data pattern. 

Users are encouraged to download the latest beta to release of BPWin software to take advantage of these and other speed improvements on the 2800F Flashstream.

BPM Microsystems’ Newest Flash Programmer Significantly Reduces Programming Time for STMicro’s NAND Flash Family

BPM Microsystems announces that it has dramatically reduced the programming time for the NAND Flash Large Page Family from chipmaker STMicroelectronics. BPM’s newest flash memory programmer, the Flashstream, now programs nine times faster than its nearest competitor, up from six times faster when the product was introduced in April 2007. 

This improvement applies to the ST Micro Large Page Family from densities ranging from 1Gb to 8Gb in size.  Four 1Gb (gigabit) STMicro NAND01 devices are programmed in 19.8 seconds with a full data pattern on the Flashstream programmer. A new feature...

BPM Releases High-Performance Socket Technology

HOUSTON — October 30, 2007 — BPM Microsystems announced today the introduction of high-performance sockets specifically designed for lead-free BGA devices. 

Initially available for any 0.8 pitch BGA device under 169 pins, the sockets are designed specifically for device programming and have a load cycle rating of 50,000 insertions.

BPM’s new high-performance sockets can be used on both universal and new Flashstream programming hardware.
